Cher The News, on Sunday 26th October 2025 we celebrated the fact that we Turned Back Time by ONE hour and got an extra hour of sleep. by creating a flashmob festival of Cher.
On Sunday 26th October 2025 in the Lower Precinct Shopping Centre, Coventry well and truly Turned Back Time — and Cher-ed every moment! 💋✨
Part of Autumn Is Queer 2025, Cher The News transformed the city into Cher-ventry for one glorious afternoon of music, laughter, and community. Timed with the end of daylight saving — when the clocks go back an hour — the event invited everyone to celebrate that “extra hour of sleep” with a festival of joy, inclusivity, and fabulousness inspired by the one and only Cher.
Coventry’s streets came alive with performances, parades, and pure sequinned energy.
